CONSULTATIONS

We believe in educating and informing our guests before starting your service. We offer the First 15: a first-time complimentary 15-minute consultation with scheduled services on the same day for multiple services. All scheduled appointments require a credit card hold.

All first-time new guests receive a 30 min. full consult: includes hair analysis, texture and type, products and various cuts, color and styles that best fit your lifestyle. A 30-minute consult is for those who only want information and recommendations without a service. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required for 30 minutes and $75 for an hour. All existing clients receive complimentary consults on their tresses for each service and seasonal consult for new styles/trends and color.

CURLY & COILY TEXTURED PRECISION CUTS  

Guests receive a custom precision cut for all textures with Diane. A precision style cut includes a rehydration steam conditioner. A curly textured cut includes a cut for curly and wavy textures with styling creams; Curl’n Go styling, dryer & diffuser / or palm Chunk’n for coily textures. A coily textured cut includes a cut for all very coily & tightly coiled textures with styling creams; Coil’n’ Go or finger coil styling and dryer time.

COLOR: BALAYAGE, OMBRE & HIGHLIGHTS

Custom coloring for textured hair is Diane’s specialty. We use only the best ammonia-free color and developers to achieve the hottest color trends that preserve the integrity of curly and coily tresses.

CURL’N GO & TEXTURED STYLES

Have you heard—we’re the best at creating curls and coils on the go... Our Curl’n Go (wash-n-go), Palm Chunk’n and FingerCoil techniques were created by Diane, the Go-to Girl for all textures, even before the release of her book Textured Tresses in 2004. Major celebrities such as Blair Underwood, Lenny Kravitz, Lauryn Hill, and jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove have all experienced her touch. Let’s start you out with a healthy foundation, and then make magic together as you learn how to Chunk & Curl’n Go!

HAIR EXTENSIONS: 
CROCHET CURLS & NUBIAN LOCS

Diane specializes in custom human hair crochet extensions, custom lace frontal units and faux locs. Styles range from bobs, new layered shags, and freedom Fros to long luxurious flowing faux locs. A consultation is required for all extensions services. 

KERATIN ANTI-FRIZZ SMOOTHING TREATMENTS 

It's the new way to naturally texturize your tresses! All our keratin smoothing treatments are made from botanical or organic chemistry ingredients. We offer a wide range of smoothing treatments that elongate the curls or coils, reduce 95% of the hair’s frizz without permanently changing the structure of the hair. We offer several formaldehyde-free brands that last from 6 weeks to 4 months, while the hair reverts to its natural state.
