The Textured Tresses Revolution Book Read and Signing event is set to be a landmark occasion in textured hair care products. This event is set for August 2, 2024, Friday, 6 PM at 366 Stuyvesant Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11233, organized by OMhh Beauty Oasis.

Texture Legends To Meet

 The event celebrates the accomplishment of the 20-year anniversary of the publication of the groundbreaking book by Diane Da Costa known as “TEXTURED TRESSES, The Ultimate Guide to Maintaining & Styling Natural Hair.” Da Costa is a Celebrity, Textured Master Pioneer, CEO and author whose contribution is highly valued and her work is still relevant even today.

 Debra Hare-Bey, CEO of OMhh Beauty Oasis,  will host the book reading and signing. She will also share her experience and popularity for the appreciation of natural hair, braiding, creativity and information. The discussion with these two women in the industry should make this a night to remember. 

What to expect

Guests will experience more than a discussion; they delight in a SimpleeCBD Herbal Blend Tea Tasting,  Jamaican Lite Bites and Tea & Tingz Hibiscus Ginger Sorrel Bubbly. 

  This event not only celebrates DaCosta’s efforts in pioneering natural hair care, but also the testimony of people and their acceptance of textured hair for the last twenty years. It is about the community coming out and narrating what they have undergone through a natural hair care process, as well as looking forward to what awaits them.
