SimpleeBEAUTIFUL is a luxury beauty, lifestyle, and wellness brand founded by entrepreneur, Diane Da Costa, an internationally known, author, advocate, and visionary, She is the “God-Mother” of the natural texture revolution and her first book, Textured Tresses, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2004. Diane also co-authored the 2022 Milady Standard Cosmetology Textbook (13th & 14th editions). This latest edition is the first and most inclusive and diverse texture educational textbook written in over 50 years.
Diane is passionate about educating her clients, consumers, and pro-stylists in all things texture. Her latest project—the Texture Certification Program was developed in partnership with TRESemme and SimpleeBEAUTIFUL CurlyTextured ACADEMY in April 2022. This complimentary master class program was open to 1000 stylists in the United States to learn new techniques in Texture Hair Fundamentals, Perfecting the Texture Cut, and the Art of Texture Styling.
